Skywatch from First World Hotel Window

I travelled off peak, took advantage of a promotion recently and stayed at the First World Hotel, Genting Highlands Resort. The standard room with a standard view costs me RM 38.80 only (approx. USD 11.00) for a 2 day 1 night stay with breakfast for 2 persons.

This is the view of the Outdoor Theme Park from my hotel window. The cloud formations here changes every few minutess and sometimes the whole view is shrouded with mist.

When I am high up somewhere, I always have this urge/curiosity to look down and enjoy the view below. Do you like doing this too? What kind of feeling do you get when you look at the clouds that seem so near and yet so far? To me it seems so near to Heaven's door. If a painter were to paint the clouds on the sky, what could he be painting here?

For more Skywatch Friday Season 4 Episode 29 pictures and to participate, please visit the Skywatch site. Skywatch was created by Dot and put in motion by Tom, who made it a huge success. Now it is hosted by Klaus with the help of Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and Slyvia.

  8. It is interesting how in the highlands the sky can change in a short time. That makes for an interesting SW.
The sky looks beautiful and very friendly for the moment.
