Nimbus Clouds Along The North South Highway

Can you smell the rain?

Our annual Northeast Monsoon season has started early this month.  The northern states of Perlis, Kedah and the East Coast are expected to experience heavy rainfall of between 500-900mm during this whole month. For other states, it will be between 200-300mm. Floods have already started in Perlis and Kedah.

While people in the Northern Hemisphere have a white Christmas and the Southern Hemisphere have a hot one, we shall experience a wet Christmas!

  2. It must be really scary, I am facinated by ominous clouds and stormy weather and never give a thought to the devastation it may cause and feel I need to apologise for that:)) Great picture!!

  9. Having rain is good but not too much. I hope it won't be a wet Christmas.

  10. Wonderful picture. In our country we hardly have a white Christmas. It is usually wet like yours though much colder!
