Orchids At The Garden Bazaar

Many orchids are native to Malaysia and they are found abundantly here. This is the scene at the Garden Bazaar during Floria 2010. Many people are crowding around a section which sells orchid plants at a discounted price of RM 10.00 for 3 which amounts to less than USD 1.00. This orchid is at seedling stage and without flowers yet. When we go back home, we have to pot it up ourselves.

Milennium Momument Putrajaya

Here's another view of the Millenium Monument at Pricinct 2, Lake View during the Putrajaya Floria 2010 Horticultural Show event that was held from Jul 10-18th. The buggy provide transport for some visitors who are tired of walking.

I fell in love with this exhibit called "Arabian Fantasy" at the Fashion Garden inside the Indoor Floral Pavillion of Floria 2010 which was held in the city of Putrajaya from July 10th -18th. It won the Bronze Medal.

Tourism Malaysia Wins Gold at Chelsea Flower Show 2010

The Tourism Malaysia Garden won the Gold Medal at this year's Chelsea Flower Show 2010.
The designers who created the show garden are James Wong and David Cubero.

This award was proudly displayed at the Tourism Malaysia's booth at the Corporate Garden Showcase  at our own annual International Floral Festival; Putrajaya Floria 2010 with was held from 10 - 18 July 2010.
