With the Buddha statue shrouded in mist, it looks like heaven here. Chin Swee Temple of Genting Highlands is located at 4,600 ft above sea level and about 10 minutes drive down from the peak.
"Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it,
no matter if I have said it,
unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense"

I also went to Chin Swee Temple a few months back, but it was a sunny day. The Buddha looks different shrouded in mist.
ReplyDeletevery huge one!
ReplyDeleteThat's an impressive Buddha statue! It reminds me of the huge Buddha in Kamakura, Japan which I saw in 1989!
ReplyDeleteCool photo, I love the statue and the fog. Well done!
ReplyDeleteShrouded in fog, it look so serene! I love the trees in the background to give some perspective to size as well. It is a great pic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful statue....
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to GH for ages. This statue gives different perspective of Genting Highlands. A great shot.
ReplyDeleteps. thanks for leaving such kind remarks on my blog :)
Have a wonderful week, Ev
it's a serene sight. the intricate carvings and view are really worth anyone's time.
ReplyDeleteI miss Genting Highlands. I'm planning to go back there.
ReplyDeleteIt look so majestic and impressive with the fog surrounded it. I've seen the temple from a distance when I was last there in Genting, I should have gone there just for phototaking!
ReplyDeleteThe statue alone is very impressive but it looks even more mysterious with the fog. Beautiful.
