Tokong Chow Kung at Ipoh Old Town

This is Tokong Chow Kung (1928) located in Ipoh Old Town. I guess it belongs to a Chinese Clan Association. The old architectural design of this building is still intact. I hope this building will be preserved as a herritage building.

This is my entry for Monochrome Weekend Volume 2 Issue 41. My grateful thanks to Aileni and Dragonstar for hosting this wonderful site. To participate or view the world in monochrome, please click here.

  1. Great architectural example. What is the population of your city?

  2. lovely building,
    Happy Monday!

  3. It's certainly a fine building, and it looks good in monochrome.

  4. Wonderful details! What does the 41 stand for? :D

  5. Kathy, the population of Ipoh city is about 710,000 people and it is the 4th largest city in Malaysia.

Jingle, Dragonstar. Thanks for the nice comments.

Kaori, no. 41 is the address of the building.

  6. What a great building. Very well photographed.
