This drawing on the wall wishes everyone "Selamat Hari Raya", meaning Happy Hari Raya. While I admire the drawing skill of the artist, I have scrutinized and looked at this picture many many times and I am still wondering what is the message that the artist is trying to convey. Is it happy, sad, or frustrated?
A funny sign because I still don't get it!
Is graffiti the art of a genius or art crime?

ReplyDeleteI think it's all the emotions mixed into one, so that is why the face is all mess-up. Can't tell whether it's happy or sad. :-)

ReplyDeleteGraffitti art. The city of Melbourne actually encourages this art form to liven up the place. I think it's a good idea but not sure if this will work over here.
