Today is ABC Wednesday
N is for .....
Naked tree!
What are you thinking when you see this tree?
I think it is a beautiful piece of Mother Nature's art.
A lovely silhouette against the clear blue sky.
The Erythrina fusca tree which bears beautiful bright red flowers is a deciduous tree. Sometimes, it sheds all its leaves during a dry spell. Later when there is enough water or rain, shoots will sprout again.
Erythrina fusca tree is also known as Pokok Dedap in Malay
ABC Wednesday, Round 7 hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and the ABC Team of Denise, Roger, Jay, Troy, Barb, Gattina, Sylvia, Annelie, Linda and Helen. To participate and view what others have in mind, please log on to this site.
I, too, think it's has a beauty all it's own with or without leaves! Great shot for the N day! Hope your week is going well!

ReplyDeleteMy ABC Wednesday here
I'm thinking this naked tree needs a new wardrobe and maybe some water. :)
ReplyDeleteya, lovely..
ReplyDeleteI thought it is already dead, as the bottom seems to be uprooted a bit, maybe it outgrowns the very small container. Is this also the legume tree in front of Petronas? We were there when it is in bloom.
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful photo. I hope the tree isn't dead, because if it comes back to life it will be gorgeous.

The naked tree makes me think of Autumn! It's Autumn here and the leaves are more on the ground than up on the branches!
ReplyDeleteNaked tree waiting for a new wardrobe
ReplyDeleteInteresting! A lovely piece of art, with or without a blossom!
ReplyDeleteMost of the trees are are getting "clothed" now, though some trees are still naked.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful ! hope it won't catch a cold ! lol
ReplyDeleteI love looking at naked trees and their intricate branches.
ReplyDeleteThe naked tree just need a new change of 'cloth' ....
