It was indeed a walk down memory lane as I went back to Taman Bunga Raya, Setapak to visit some friends. I spent 3 student years here. I have almost forgotten the beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur as I stand here reminiscing about my younger days, walking hand-in-hand with my better half. The landscape was different then but the view was just as beautiful. There was no Kuala Lumpur Tower of Petronas Twin Towers then, but the low cost houses here have remained until today with not much changes.
Those were the days of old Len Sen omnibuses that ply Setapak area. Now, it is easier to commute by LRT via Wangsa Maju station. We used to take a Len Sen bus and stopped at Lebuh Ampang (Little India of KL) before we walk all the way to Sungei Wang Plaza via Jalan Tong Shin and ENE Plaza way.
Now, I can imagine how beautiful it will be with Petonas Twin Towers lighting up the night sky like a pair of dragon's eyes. I'm sure this is a good location to welcome in the new year as sparkling fireworks lights up the whole sky.

Nice view of the city!
ReplyDeleteAnn, there are no swallows in the picture. If you mean the wavy things on the wires, actually this is due to my camera settings that makes the lines wavy instead of straight. I was trying the VGA mode which is supposed to be best for email and computer screens. It turn out otherwise.
ReplyDeletePetronas tower is really amazing at night. But you know that seeing the place from this point of view made us to realize a lot of things.
