Verbenas are short-lived perennials, sometimes treated as annuals by gardeners. The tiny flat flowers come in clusters. The tooth-shaped leaves are dark green in colour. Besides violet, there are also verbenas with white and red flowers.Verbenas are good as ground covers, bedding and for edges.
