The first is reflection, which is the noblest.
The second is limitation, which is the easiest.
The third is experience, which is the bitterest.”

Nice reflection and the flower is absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures although only a bit of flower's reflection.
ReplyDeleteVery nice quote.
This is such a beautiful photo, that goes well with Confucius!
ReplyDeleteLike the water lily as it reminds me of my childhood when my dad grew them in salt egg jars.
ReplyDeleteDon't quite understand confucious second: Limitation. You mean minimise amount of input or screen out useless details?
James, Tabib, Cieldequimper, Ann. Thank you very much for the nice comments. Ann, you have asked me a good question. I was thinking about that too when doing my 'reflection'. IMO, I interpret limitation to mean that in order to gain wisdom, perhaps one need to narrow down the scope and stay focused, almost similar to your opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe flower is exquisite, the composition superb.
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous flower, lovely reflections too
