ReplyDeleteThe first year as a straw is hardest, though it never goes away. It is like losing a puzzle piece.
My mum died suddenly, and that was very hard. But it's been twenty two years, so it is not so bad now. Dad died 4 years ago, in his 80s. The thing he made it sweet for us was he chose to die on my mother's death anniversary.
I will think of you.
